Design, develop, and optimize data architecture for a leading insurance company in Cork, Ireland. Lead data integration, ETL processes, and data pipelines to create scalable, efficient, and secure data systems, enabling data-driven decision-making and business intelligence across teams.
**Key Responsibilities:*
- Design and develop data architecture, integrating diverse data sources and creating efficient data pipelines
- Lead ETL processes, ensuring seamless data flow across the organization
- Collaborate with teams to enable data-driven decision-making and business intelligence
**Requirements:*
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related role
- Expertise in SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience with ETL tools and designing data pipelines (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend)
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data governance, and metadata management
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
