Job Description
We are seeking a Data Architect with strong leadership skills to join a leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturer in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes and use that knowledge to develop and implement architecture and solutions to improve and support business processes.
- Develop a data strategy and roadmap working with business partners to identify digital transformation needs that will drive value.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts and engineers to drive the implementation of this roadmap.
- Lead the data analytics team in the delivery of an architecture that continues to evolve and embrace the advantages of new technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field
- 7+ years of experience in architecture design and implementation
- 5+ years of experience in leading data projects and teams to deliver value
- Experience in strategic planning and aligning data projects with business goals
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of data analysts, engineers and scientists
- Expertise in designing and implementing complex data models
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java)
- Experience with data integration tools and techniques
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry processes and familiarity with GMP regulations
