Job Summary

Design and manage scalable data architectures to support business growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and construct data architectures that are scalable, efficient, and aligned with the organization's data strategy and business goals.
  • Evaluate the feasibility, costs, and challenges associated with data architectures and provide recommendations for updates and improvements.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance and Data Management teams to establish and align standards within the overall data architecture.
  • Provide expert consultation on data architecture to stakeholders and ensure accurate and secure data usage.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance data architecture artifacts, such as data models, frameworks, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with business units and Data Product Owners to understand their data design requirements and ensure that the data architecture supports their specific objectives.
  • Design, document, and implement data models that meet specified objectives and ensure the integrity, quality, and accessibility of the data.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data architecture, data management, and/or business intelligence environments.
  • Experience in the Property and Casualty insurance sector, particularly with an emphasis on commercial lines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data principles and procedures, including data modeling concepts and modern data technology platform design.
  • Advanced understanding of specialized technologies and practices related to data architecture.
  • Expert problem-solving skills and techniques to effectively address complex data architecture challenges.
