Job Description
Join our Data Center Engineering Operations Team as an energetic and detail-oriented individual to maintain critical physical infrastructure supporting Amazon Web Services. Key responsibilities include managing shift technicians, vendors, and third-party Colocation providers, ensuring 100% availability of MEP systems, and delivering quality service to meet customer demands.
Key job responsibilities:
* Establish performance benchmarks and prepare reports on critical facility operations and maintenance.
* Manage on-site work performed by shift technicians, senior shift technicians, sub-contractors, and vendors.
* Operate and manage routine and emergency services on critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and power distribution equipment.
* Assist in data center capacity planning and reporting.
* Work with IT managers and business leaders to coordinate projects and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* At least four years of experience in Data Center or mission-critical systems engineering or commissioning, operations, and/or on-call support.
* An undergraduate/bachelor's degree in a technical field (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering) with the ability to write and review accurate and complete support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries.
* Business level of English with fluent Korean.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Excellent understanding of Electrical systems in critical Data Center operations, including utility substation feeds, transformers, switchgear, and associated systems.
* Excellent understanding of Mechanical systems in critical Data Center operations, including CRAC/CRAHs/AHUs, chillers, cooling towers, and associated systems.
* Appropriate Security and Safety awareness.
* Datacenter Project Management Experience.
* Datacenter or Engineering related certificates; CDCP, CDCS, ATS, ATD, P.E, PMP, LEED, and others.
