**Data Center Facility Electrical Engineer** We are seeking a skilled Data Center Facility Electrical Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, responsible for operating and maintaining world-class mechanical and electrical infrastructure in our data centers. **Job Responsibilities:** * Ensure the highest safety standards are maintained and a world-class safety culture is fostered * Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, including UPS's, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, and Transformers * Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs * Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures * Drive innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities **A Day in the Life:** * Work rotational shifts of 4 days of 12 hours shifts (2 days followed by 2 nights), and 4 days off * Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment * Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance * Perform tasks that require occasional movement of objects/material, working in outdoor weather conditions, and working at heights **About the Team:** * We value diverse experiences and encourage candidates to apply, even if they don't meet all the qualifications and skills listed * We strive for flexibility as part of our working culture and value work-life harmony * Our employee-led affinity groups foster a culture of inclusion that empowers us to be proud of our differences **Why AWS:** * We are the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform * We pioneered cloud computing and never stopped innovating * Our robust suite of products and services powers the businesses of successful startups and Global 500 companies **Minimum Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar technical focus * Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory * Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls) * Knowledge of data center capacity planning and reporting
