**Data Center Facility Engineer (Mech/Elec) - UAE National Only** A highly skilled Data Center Facility Engineer is required to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining world-class mechanical and electrical infrastructure in our data centers. **About the Role** As a Data Center Facility Engineer, you will be responsible for: * Operating and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment, including UPS's, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches, Diesel Generators, Chillers, HVAC, Exhaust Fans, VFD's, and Transformers * Troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs * Performing root cause analysis of equipment failures * Driving innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities * Working rotational shifts of 4 days of 12 hours shifts (2 days followed by 2 nights), and 4 days off (including night, weekends and holidays) * Responding to on-call rotation reaction to off-duty emergency calls * Taking daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.) * Supervising contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar technical focus * Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls) * Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory * UAE National with family book * Knowledge of generic mechanical room infrastructure such as chillers, cooler units, and fan controls **About the Team** Our team values diverse experiences and welcomes candidates from all backgrounds.
