**Job Summary:** Manage the world's largest Cloud Computing Infrastructure as a Data Center Manager in Amazon Web Services (AWS), overseeing teams of engineers, providing technical and leadership expertise, and ensuring highest levels of performance. **Job Description:** As a Data Center Manager in Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will be responsible for managing the world's largest Cloud Computing Infrastructure. You will oversee teams of engineers, provide technical and leadership expertise, and ensure highest levels of performance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Managing and developing teams of engineers * Providing technical and leadership expertise * Ensuring highest levels of performance * Maintaining existing co-located and in-house Data Centers * Helping build and bring online new Data Centers * Constantly improving all processes and procedures * Assisting and managing relationships with external vendors and contractors * Liaising with internal teams and management groups * Ensuring adherence to and exceeding local Health and Safety standards in all Data Centers * Creating and maintaining metrics on all aspects of Data Centers and utilizing those metrics to drive positive changes * Assisting in implementing service methodologies, including incident management, problem management, change management, capacity management, etc. **Requirements:** * Engineering degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience managing large-scale services and 3+ years building and managing successful technical teams * Experience in incident management, vendor management, and process improvement * Proven track record of delivering complex projects with prior ownership of mission-critical operations * Ability to consistently deliver results despite competing priorities * Security and health and safety awareness * Technical depth to pass at least one of our Network Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Developer Support Engineer skill set * Project Management Experience * Extensive OE and/or Agile experience * Capacity planning and budgetary experience * Experience in Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma is preferable * Change Management and Fault Management **About Amazon:** Amazon is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform.
