Job Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking talented technicians to support server and network hardware and software in its APAC data centers.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and take ownership of their work.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform 7x24 roster duty in data center operations
- Respond to incidents and follow instructions for hands-on support
- Perform break-fix and troubleshooting according to process guidelines
- Maintain proper media operations according to process guidelines
- Perform capacity landing and decommissioning according to process guidelines
- Manage and maintain tidiness in operation areas
- Learn and develop on operation and support processes with innovation and automation
Basic Qualifications
- Interest in learning computing hardware and operation systems and basic understanding of incident response and prioritization
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Up to 1 year of experience in server/network hardware and operation systems maintenance/troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
- Majoring in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering or related disciplines
- Knowledge in Computer Server Hardware
- Knowledge in Linux Operation System
- Knowledge on operations, processes, and continuous process improvement
- Literacy in security and customer data protection
