Amazon Data Center Technician
A unique opportunity to work in cutting-edge data centers, maintaining and upkeeping data center infrastructure, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities of an Amazon Data Center Technician include:
- Meet service level agreements against assigned trouble tickets
- First line touch point for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues
- Perform server hardware repairs and routine network and server hardware repairs
- Work with cross-functional teams to complete routine work and engage with smart hands in EU Regional POPs
- Adhere to security and safety best practices and participate in data center power and cooling events
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of other team members
- Perform server upgrades, rebuilds, and scheduled works as required
- Interact with third-party vendors and contractors
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Experience in networking
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating under pressure
