Job Title: Data Cloud Architect (AWS) Location: Dublin City Centre, Ireland (2-3 Days Onsite) Contract Duration: 3-Months with the likelihood to extend once budgets for 2025 are confirmed About the Role: We are working with a client in Dublin that is looking for an experienced Data Cloud Architect with a strong background in AWS to join their team. This role is based in Dublin's City Centre, requiring 2-3 days onsite per week. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions in the cloud, ensuring our systems are robust, secure, and optimized for performance. Key Responsibilities: - Design, architect, and implement cloud-based data solutions on AWS. - Collaborate with data engineering & architecture teams to define and execute the data architecture strategy. - Optimize and enhance data infrastructure to meet the growing needs of the business. - Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are integrated into cloud solutions. - Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud architecture and data management. Requirements: - 10+ years' experience in the field of Data Architecture/ Business Intelligence/ Public & Private Cloud - Proven experience as a Data Cloud Architect, specifically with AWS. - Strong understanding of AWS services, including but not limited to S3, Redshift, RDS, Lambda, and EC2. - Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. - Knowledge of Oracle Database is beneficial - Experience with cloud security, data governance, and compliance frameworks. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with both onsite and remote team members. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. - Ability to present to senior stakeholders and other IT teams What We Offer: - Competitive daily rate. - Flexible work environment with 2-3 days onsite in their Dublin City Centre office. - Opportunity to work on a high-impact project with a talented team.
