We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Digital Data Solutions team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and support data integrations both on-premise and in the cloud, working closely with our business stakeholders on exciting development projects. Your contributions will be essential in creating seamless and effective data solutions that empower our teams and enhance our services. Our internal Technology team within Business Enablement Solutions is a pivotal enabler for PwC, executing a robust technology strategy, delivering operational efficiency and driving innovation. Purpose-led work you'll be part of As a Senior Associate , you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for: Analyse, design, and develop integration and business solutions to meet business, technical, and security requirements using secure agile software development methodologies. Collaborate with business users, technical architects, and third-party developers to identify and develop solutions that support the digital strategy. Develop into an Azure DevOps specialist to coordinate, collaborate, and release new software products. Assist in technology decisions regarding technologies, platforms, and software. Prepare detailed technical solution design documents. Develop and maintain data flow diagrams for data integrations. Act as a subject matter expert on data integrations, supporting platforms, and technologies. Coordinate and undertake data validation between system data sets. Assess global system functional changes for data changes and their impacts on business applications and integrations. Lead the resolution of data-related issues on local and global integrations, impacting local data technology processes. Experiences and skills: Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT including at least 3yrs in Data Integration Services and SQL development. Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions is required Advanced skills in SQL Server and SQL scripting, with experience in complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning is required Experience in programming languages in one of the following C#, .NET, PowerShell, and Python is required Proficient in Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps, for developing automated workflows, custom applications, and system integrations is desirable but not essential Experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and familiarity with iterative development processes is highly desirable Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and experience with version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with data lineage concepts and tools, ensuring data traceability and quality across systems and experience with LeanIX desirable Proven ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies relevant to data engineering.
