About the Role
As a Principal Data Analyst at Optum, you will play a critical role in managing our network pharmacy pricing guarantees for the Medicare business. You will provide financial modeling and analytics to drive best outcomes and ensure alignment with our pharmacy contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the performance of effective rate pricing guarantees within network pharmacies for Optum's Medicare book of business.
- Develop and maintain financial models to ensure ongoing iteration and efficacy in projections.
- Collaborate with internal teams to incorporate relevant insights into modeling and pricing decisions.
- Communicate emerging risks or trends to leadership and stakeholders.
- Consult with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure appropriate application of contractual and regulatory obligations.
Requirements:
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience in financial modeling.
- Strong communication skills to work with stakeholders from multiple levels and disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS Azure experience.
- Ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data.
- Comfortable understanding complex scenarios and providing effective decisions.
