Our diverse solutions delivered by our highly qualified and proficient employees enhance our customers’ productivity, safety, and their profitability.We are now recruiting for a Data Lead - for a permanent role in our Dublin Office.JOB PURPOSEThe purpose of the Data Management Lead role is to provide leadership, direction, and oversight of all master data design and data migration related activities carried out on the SAP S/4HANA programme. The individual will be responsible for working with the business, IT, and programme leadership to help define the overall master data target state and data migration strategy and approach for the programme and will manage a team of master data consultants and data/technical analysts (both internal & 3rd party) to execute on those data strategies and approaches.The role requires knowledge of SAP data structures and elements and experience of working with Master Data Design and managing large SAP datasets. Excellent communication (verbal and written), teamwork, and organizational skills will also be critical to executing the role successfully.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESEnhance the overall master data and data migration strategy and approach.Develop the overall master data and data migration plan in conjunction with the programme management team.Lead a team of master data and data analysts (both internal and 3rd party) responsible for:Master data design including creating and maintaining processes.Overall extraction, cleansing, transforming, and loading of data into new SAP systems.Work effectively between the functional team and the data team to:Manage master data design and implementation.Understand the business data & translations, leading the data analysts to develop the ETL routines.Advise on the development of BAU master data processes and organization.Ensure coordination between the data team, the functional teams, and the IT development team is managed effectively.Manage the creation and maintenance of data architecture related design artifacts.Manage the setup and testing of the necessary data tools including SAP Data Services, Migration Cockpit, and Information Steward.Plan and manage the mock data migration activities for the programme, including scoping of user acceptance testing of migrated data.Plan and manage the migration of data for each “Go-Live” event within the programme.Assume ownership and responsibility for data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of data fields.Develop ongoing data quality monitoring procedures and reporting in S/4HANA utilizing SAP Information Steward.Input into project related Design Governance forums as appropriate.Other tasks as required and directed by your line manager.EXPERIENCE5+ years in a similar role.Extensive experience working with SAP data structures and elements.EDUCATION, LICENCES & CERTIFICATESEducated to degree level or equivalent.OTHER:Must be willing to travel if required.What we offer:22 days annual leave.4 Company Days.Defined Contribution Pension.VHI Health Insurance.Life & Disability Insurance.Onsite Gym.Health & Wellbeing Initiatives – gym membership, wellbeing seminars, bike to work scheme.Flexible start & finish times.Diversity, Inclusion & SustainabilitySandvik has a developed belief in conducting our business in a sustainable and responsible manner, both for our employees and the environment; wherever in the world we operate.Our high ethical standards determine our policy of putting Safety at a premium, acknowledging and respecting the communities and giving due consideration to the environment in the areas we operate.These core values, to prioritise the safety and well-being of our employees, are the foundation of how we work today.
