Job Description

Seeking experienced Data Manager to join Animal Health client in Dublin for 11-month contract. Collaborate with Marketing, IT, and R&D teams to build animal data models and ensure data quality.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement data models revolving around animals.
  • Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and classification schemes.
  • Collaborate with marketing, veterinary professionals, researchers, data engineers, and data management teams to identify data-related requirements.
  • Monitor data quality and proactively identify and resolve issues or anomalies in animal health records and datasets.
  • Conduct data profiling, analysis, and validation to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of animal health data.
  • Establish data documentation and metadata management processes for animal health records, diagnostic, and research data.
  • Provide guidance and support to veterinary professionals and researchers on data governance best practices and standards in animal health.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of proven hands-on experience working as a Data Steward, Data Manager, Data Custodian, or similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Information Systems Management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data quality, cataloging, modeling, analysis, and metadata management.
  • Experience with data management tools and technologies, such as Collibra, Immuta, and Data Bricks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret and analyze veterinary records and diagnostic data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks in dynamic environments.
