Job Description

PTSb is seeking a skilled data entry specialist to join its team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of customer data.

As a data entry specialist, you will be responsible for comparing data with source documents, re-entering data in verification format to detect errors, and compiling, sorting, and verifying the accuracy of data before it is entered.

You will also be required to maintain logs of activities and completed work, and report details in data governance and risk forums.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate enterprise data issues and identify problems
  • Monitor Data quality work queue and triage and remediate issues as they arise
  • Work with colleagues across the bank in operations, technology, finance, and risk to address underlying issues
  • Work closely with specific CDO member on data quality issues impact regulatory reports or projects related to customer data quality
  • Build relationships with production support teams in technology and operations customer quality assurance to ensure issues are resolved quickly with minimum impact
  • Provide support and advice to other colleagues attempting to identify issues or remediate issues

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of relevant data entry work on core banking system
  • Higher Level qualification
  • Good knowledge of PTSB data quality process
  • Understanding of the research elements of the role
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate complex information and problems in a simplified manner
  • Excellent documentation, report writing & presentation skills
