We have an opportunity for a Data Analytics Intern to join our Insights team for a 12 Month Internship starting in January 2025. The role will require key analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. The key responsibilities include:
- Applying data mining techniques using state-of-the-art methods, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems
- Merging external data with preexisting data to generate insight
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
- Ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
- Provision of timely Management Information across the Business
- Support on cross functional projects as required
- Educate the business on tools and techniques used
- Recently graduated from a BSc or MSc in Computer/Data Science, or IT degree
- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques, statistical analysis, algorithms and common data science toolkits
- Great communication skills including experience with data visualisation tools
- Strong systems orientation including PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills
- Data-oriented personality, positive curiosity, self-starter, ability to operate in a dynamic environment, good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making
