We have an opportunity for a Data Analytics Intern to join our Insights team for a 12 Month Internship starting in January 2025. The role will require key analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. The key responsibilities include:

  • Applying data mining techniques using state-of-the-art methods, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems
  • Merging external data with preexisting data to generate insight
  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
  • Provision of timely Management Information across the Business
  • Support on cross functional projects as required
  • Educate the business on tools and techniques used
The successful candidate will possess the following:
  • Recently graduated from a BSc or MSc in Computer/Data Science, or IT degree
  • Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques, statistical analysis, algorithms and common data science toolkits
  • Great communication skills including experience with data visualisation tools
  • Strong systems orientation including PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills
  • Data-oriented personality, positive curiosity, self-starter, ability to operate in a dynamic environment, good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making
This is a 12 Month internship. Work location is flexible in the Republic of Ireland. We have offices in Cork and Dublin. Work Smart hybrid work arrangement applies for this role.
