Job Description
Lead Data Scientist for AI Centre of Excellence
Drive the development and implementation of AI solutions across the business, leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical techniques to extract insights from vast amounts of data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AI solutions that deliver measurable business value and positive customer outcomes.
- Lead a team of highly skilled data scientists across a programme of diverse data science projects.
- Apply scientific methods through experimental design, exploratory data analysis, and hypothesis testing to reach robust conclusions.
- Develop and maintain a catalogue of use cases with proven value, utilising a broad spectrum of techniques.
Requirements:
- MSc or Ph D in Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or equivalent qualification.
- Strong leadership and organisation skills in Data Science, with 4+ years of experience leading, motivating, coaching and inspiring highly skilled data scientists.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of AI concepts, tools, and applications, and familiarity with the AI landscape and trends.
- Demonstrate solid foundation of statistics, predictive modelling, machine learning algorithms/frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn) and deep learning frameworks (e.g. Tensorflow, Keras, Py Torch).
- Strong coding abilities in SQL, as well as Python or R.
