Job Description

Data Scientists play a crucial role in unlocking insights from large datasets and driving business decisions.

As a Data Scientist I, you will analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights, trends, and patterns, and develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making and present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights, trends, and patterns

  • Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making

  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Support the development of data tools, dashboards, and reporting systems



Requirements:




  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or accelerated master's program graduating in summer 2025

  • Computer Science / Data Analytics background

  • Available to start a new role in September 2025

  • Insightful problem-solver, able to gather input from multiple divergent sources, narrow in on any problems or gaps, and propose effective solutions

  • Conversant with data: comfortable working with data sets of varying sizes, able to generate descriptive statistics and find simple patterns

  • Bonus: knowledge of and experience with machine learning models

  • Familiar with at least one of the following tools: Tableau, SQL, Python, AWS, Hadoop

  • Excellent communicator, especially in group settings and with presentations to differing audiences
