We want you to become the best version of yourself.Join us as a Data ScientistWe’re seeking an experienced data scientist with an appetite to apply cutting-edge data science techniques to help multiple teams across Three unlock value from data.By joining Three’s Analytics & Innovation team, you will work with a wide range of interesting data sources in order to create datasets and engineer features, perform exploratory analyses and deep dives, build machine learning models & bespoke analytical solutions, and deploy them to production.This role presents an exciting opportunity for any data scientist who has the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to identify business opportunities and has an innovative mindset when designing and building great solutions.What else it involvesCreate and work with large datasets to extract value and insightsUse statistical and data science techniques to explore data, identify patterns and trends and make recommendations to help with business decision-makingProcess, join and analyse data sources to create features which feed into analytical and machine learning pipelinesBuild, deploy and maintain predictive models and data science solutionsManage, monitor and recalibrate models deployed to productionOptimise and automate workflows to scale existing processesCollaborate with various teams to understand their data needs and help them make informed decisions based on data insightsCreate dashboards to visualise insights for stakeholdersResearch and implement new techniques in data science & artificial intelligence to make analytical solutions more impactful, scalable and accurateThe skills we're looking forDegree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer ScienceSolid understanding of statistics, machine learning and data science principlesExperience in designing, building and deploying machine learning and forecasting modelsProven experience in Python and SQLFamiliarity with reporting and visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Cognos)Experience using a version control system (e.g. Git)Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plusExcellent project management skills, including communication and stakeholder engagementAbility to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesAttention to detail and collaborative mindsetAbility to work independently and to take ownership of key responsibilitiesBenefits of Working at ThreeFlexible working with our new Hybrid model, our employees will enjoy more flexibility working from home and our office locations (3 days per week office based).Competitive salary, annual performance bonus & pension contributionAnnual Leave buy or sell (buy or sell up to 5 days AL each year)Healthcare Insurance through our flexible benefits programmeAccess to learning & development tools such as LinkedIn LearningFree on-site parkingYou may think you know us, but we’re full of surprises.
