Job Description
Job Summary: Maintain, troubleshoot and develop projects in enterprise level MS SQL database systems. Analyze data, design databases, and write high-quality SQL to solve software development and analytics tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Write SQL to solve software development and analytics tasks.
Design, develop, test, debug and deliver new products and features using Microsoft SQL technologies (T-SQL/SSIS/SSRS/SSAS).
Design, develop and deploy reporting solutions/dashboards using Tableau and SSRS.
Develop integration packages (SSIS).
Assist with effort estimates and project schedules.
Enhance and maintain system functionality.
Improve system performance.
Develop documentation and demonstrate solutions.
Improve operations by analyzing systems and recommending changes.
Update job knowledge by studying development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment.
Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
Provide information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing development and service issues.
Qualifications:
Degree in Computing
Excellent MS SQL Server database development skills
5+ years experience in MS SQL Database Development or Analytics role
Proficiency in writing T-SQL, Stored Procedures, SSIS, SSRS & SSAS
Great data analysis experience and database design skills
Experience in administration of Microsoft SQL in a high transaction environment
Experience in Python and/or Java is a plus
Experience in AWS is a plus
