Lead a team providing high-quality dementia-specific care in a day centre setting, overseeing client care, staff management, and facility operations.
As a Day Centre Manager, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care, enhancing the quality of life for clients, and fostering relationships with their families and local health providers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive care and enhancing quality of life for clients
- Supervising, training, and managing day care staff and volunteers
- Managing daily operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Fostering relationships with clients' families and local health providers and promoting centre services
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, or Nursing
- 5+ years in health/social care with 3+ years in management
- Full clean driving license
- Registered Nurse with dementia care qualification desirable
Essential skills:
- Strong management, organizational, and communication skills
- Client-focused with empathy and a commitment to confidentiality
- Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable about health and safety regulations
