Job Description

Day Support Facilitator

The Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, Clare Region, provides services to people with intellectual disabilities and autism throughout Clare County.

As a Day Support Facilitator, you will work with individuals to promote their equality, dignity, diversity, and rights, and provide personal assistance in all aspects of personal development and personal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the co-ordination, development, and implementation of individual plans to meet the aspirations and goals of each person you support.
  • Engage the community in the services provided and have an inclusive approach to all aspects of service delivery.
  • Support individuals to have valued roles that facilitate them to contribute in a positive way in their local community.
  • Ensure the welfare and well-being of all individuals who avail of our service.
  • Facilitate and implement a Person Centred service appropriate to the needs, wishes, and requirements of the individual.

Requirements:

  • A relevant third-level qualification to a minimum of Degree Level.
  • Competencies and skills appropriate to working with persons with an intellectual disability.
  • A positive attitude towards working with persons with an intellectual disability.
