Job Description
**DBA (MySQL / Oracle) Role** A leading identity assurance technology company in Dublin City Centre seeks a skilled DBA to support the installation, maintenance, and support of MySQL databases, as well as provide guidance and support to DevOps, Support, and Pro Services teams. **Key Responsibilities:** * Installation, maintenance, and support of MySQL databases primarily * Provide support for Oracle databases running on premise and cloud platforms * Provide database guidance and support to DevOps, Support, and Pro Services teams as needed * Apply DBA best practices * Be proactive in problem solving and innovation **Requirements:** * 3+ years in a Database Administration role * Strong work experience with MySQL and Oracle databases including performance tuning and general database troubleshooting * Experience installing, monitoring, and supporting production databases running on AWS * Knowledge of large-scale data replication technologies (AWS DMS or Oracle Goldengate) * SQL scripting with experience in PL/SQL and shell scripting **Company Overview:** A market leader in their sector, this company provides SAAS solutions to governments and large organizations globally.
