Multiple positions available due to growth (Consultant/Senior Consultant/ Assistant Manager/ Manager / Senior Manager) About the Role The Decarbonisation team is a group of subject matter experts that are part of our multidisciplinary Climate and Sustainability team. Our team work with clients across all sectors to understand, and reduce, their impact on climate change. Responsibilities: collaborate closely with our clients to identify, understand and address the sustainability-related business risks and opportunities relevant to their net zero journeys; support creation of an auditable baseline by quantifying scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions; develop strategies and utilise technology for monitoring, reporting and forecasting GHG emissions; set ambitious, but achievable, decarbonisation targets in line with Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and other leading practices; develop roadmaps for GHG emission reductions by identifying abatement opportunities, their associated costs and understanding the challenges clients face in implementing solutions (with a focus on scope 3 emissions); connect decarbonisation activities to regulatory requirements and ensure a future audit-proof data set. About You This role requires you to leverage your GHG emissions quantification expertise in an advisory role to help clients navigate the challenges involved in decarbonising. A strong command of the GHG emissions reporting environment is crucial, as well as creative and practical solutions to allow our clients to make real change. To be successful in this role, you will have: bachelor / (Post) Master degree in Environmental Science/ Sustainability or related field or equivalent practical experience; proven work experience relevant to the role; deep expertise in GHG emissions accounting, reporting and reduction; Desirable: experience in setting Science Based Targets, FLAG targets and transition planning experience; Fluent written and spoken English and strong command of analytical tools such as Excel, Power of BI.
