Job Description
Experienced Delivery Driver sought for full-time position at Wallace's Homevalue Hardware, working five days a week, with a focus on efficient and professional delivery of customers' orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver customers' orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Interact with customers in a positive and courteous way, addressing any queries they may have.
- Load, unload, prepare, and operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Assist with yard duties as required.
Requirements:
- A full, clean C licence with up-to-date CPCs is essential.
- Rigid lorry experience is necessary.
- Knowledge of hardware and construction materials is required.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is desirable.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team.
- Manual handling experience is necessary.
- Forklift experience is preferable.
