A partner hotel of Tifco Hotel Group, The Clybaun Hotel, Galway, is ideally situated between Salthill and Galway City offering great leisure facilities and is located on the doorstep to Connemara, The Aran Islands and the Wild Atlantic Way. With 92 spacious en-suite guest rooms, having undergone an extensive refurbishment in recent times. Our function room can accommodate up to 400 delegates and The Adam & Lohan Suites, with a capacity of up to 50 delegates. We are now seeking a Deputy General Manager to join the team. Key areas of responsibility include Provide strategic support to the General Manager for all hotel operations Ensure the best level of customer care within the property. Support the profitability and cost management of the hotel. To direct and manage all hotel activities Deputise for the General Manager in their absence Foster an excellent working environment where customer focus is exceeded Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate 3-4 years experience as Deputy or Operations Manager role in a 4-star hotel. 3rd Level Qualification in Hospitality Management. Strong communicator; and comfortable in contributing to the overall hotel strategy. Ability to develop and build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
