Overview PM Group is a leading International engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm. With a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US and a multi-discipline team of 3,500 people, we deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors. We wish to appoint a Deputy Group Head of Construction Services. This senior leadership role will be responsible for the strategic development and growth, of our overall construction services business. The role will require travel to support Business Units, Project Sites, Client liaison and the overall construction business development. A key attribute of the role is the ability to lead, mentor, develop and grow our construction management teams, and give clear strategic direction for the service growth plan. The role is senior client-facing requiring the ability to develop and nurture client relationships and provide expert construction leadership and advice, in regards to all construction matters specific to our service offering This a hybrid role and the role can be based from our offices in Ireland, Belgium, Germany or Netherlands. Closing Date is close of busness 21st October Responsibilities Will i n cl ude but not be limited to: Overall responsibility for the development and management of the Construction Service business. Establishing service financial targets and service plans. Work closely with the PM Group leadership to grow, enhance and continually develop the overall service delivery. Ensure that the Construction Service delivery complies fully with PM Group systems and procedures. Drive innovation within our construction service business.(digital, modern methods, off site manufacturing etc) Support and input to Business Development, Recruitment, development and management of Construction Services personnel. Provide leadership/expertise in the areas of Construction Health & Safety, Environmental & Sustainability, Construction QAQC, Constructability, Contracts/Commercial and Project Controls. Qualifications Demonstrated capability and leadership in Construction delivery within specialized industrial sectors. (Life Sciences, Food & Mission Critical) Professional Qualification in Engineering or Construction /Project Management. 15+ years' professional experience. Excellent knowledge and understanding of H&S statutory requirements. Proven people management experience Good understanding of contractual models and supply chain capability. Strong presentation and written communication skills Strong influencing and negotiation skills. A demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at management and operation level.
