As a Deputy Manager, you will be an important part of the team, supporting the Store Manager and management staff in driving store success. Your role includes a variety of responsibilities such as recruiting, coaching, and developing team members, maintaining high engagement, and preparing staff for future leadership roles. You will also set clear objectives and KPI targets for your team to ensure consistent performance and growth. Responsibilities: Drive store sales, productivity, and cost management using commercial insights. Utilize daily and weekly reports to optimize store operations and trading. Work closely with the Store Manager to recruit, coach, and develop a highly skilled and engaged team, focusing on nurturing future leaders. Set and monitor clear objectives and KPI targets for the team, ensuring they are met. Provide support and guidance to underperforming team members to align with set goals. Demonstrate strong commercial leadership and foster the development of a top-performing team. Oversee stock management and rotation to maintain efficient operations. Implement visual merchandising guidelines and report outcomes to regional teams. Conduct regular competitor visits, sharing key insights with the operations team. Maintain open and regular communication with regional and brand center teams. Requirements: Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing overall store performance. Ability to make sound business decisions, even in the absence of the Store Manager. Proficiency in analyzing reports and driving store productivity for profitability. Solid understanding of market trends in fashion and fitness. Commitment to team building, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop a talented team.
