Job Description
Design Architect / Senior Design Architect sought for a leading commercial architectural studio in Dublin city centre, working on diverse projects in Ireland and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative, innovative design solutions in line with client requirements and company objectives
- Produce detailed design drawings and documentation, ensuring adherence to current regulations, codes, and standards
- Use the Adobe Creative suite to create compelling visual presentations for clients and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants throughout all project phases
- Ensure designs comply with planning, building regulations, and sustainability requirements
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews, translating client needs into innovative solutions
- Attend site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of works and ensure design intent is maintained
Key Requirements:
- Registered Architect holding RIAI / RIBA membership
- Strong proficiency in Revit is essential, including 3D modelling, detailing, and documentation, along with advanced skills in Photoshop, In Design, and Illustrator for presentation and graphic work
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience working on high-quality design and diverse projects within an architectural studio
- Thorough understanding of Irish building regulations, planning processes, and construction methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in client-facing roles
