Job Description
We are an EWI and render distributor who is currently seeking a Design Engineer to join our growing team. We are the exclusive Irish supplier for a large international manufacturer and we hold NSAI certification for their products. We are currently positioned as one of the larger suppliers on the Irish market and are growing quickly with sustained year on year growth.
Main responsibilities;
- Maintain and develop CAD details for façade systems (EWI, render only systems & cladding).
- Prepare specifications & project specific design documentation (u values, condensation risk, ventilation guidance etc.) for new build & retrofit projects.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, our NSAI certification and relevant standards.
- Provide on-site technical assistance and resolve queries where required.
- Attend site meeting for major projects.
- Provide technical assistance to architects or other construction professionals who wish to specify our products & systems.
- Assist management with the development of insulation, cladding & render solutions for various MMC's (timber frame, LGS, SIPS, precast etc.).
- Maintain and update technical literature, training documentation and installation manuals.
Candidate attributes;
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology, Construction, Engineering or related field.
- Proficient in AutoCAD & Revit (2D & 3D).
- Previous EWI, cladding or façade design experience.
- Good communication skills and comfortable presenting to groups.
- Full clean driving licence.
Full time position. Hybrid working (mix of office based & work from home).
Company car provided.
€40-45k DOE
