Louth Salary €40K - €55K About the Company: A leading Manufacturing company based in County Louth are currently recruiting for a Design Engineer to join their ever-expanding team. The role suits a successful candidate that will be responsible for the planning, organization and directing of technical projects from concept through to the design and manufacturing stages. They are looking for a suitable candidate that has experience and the ability to use 3D CAD Software packages such as Solidworks and comes from a Mechanical Engineering background. Role Includes: To develop and maintain mechanical and electrical design drawings using CAD Software packages. Actively source all tools, equipment and materials that are needed for the product production. Ability to determine the operational requirements and be able to propose solutions. Make sure that all design work is completed and to acceptable standards and confirmed with senior manager. Produce mechanical designs from concept to production drawings in line with customer needs and business objectives Communicate effectively with the manufacturing team to ensure that all projects are running smoothly and effectively. Ensure all health and safety requirements are took into consideration throughout the design process. Requirements: 2-5+ years experience with a qualification within Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Environment. Ability to use 3D CAD Software packages, such as Solidworks. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well and contribute within a team. Good attention to detail. Be proactive and positive in work.
