Mechanical Design Engineer for Water and Wastewater Treatment Projects We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team, working on a wide scope of Water and Wastewater Treatment projects across the Island of Ireland. **Key Responsibilities:** • Collaborate with Senior Design Engineers to support end-to-end design projects • Liaise with clients from initial concept to final delivery • Maintain high standards of work, ensuring compliance with specifications and engineering practices • Conduct detailed design calculations and equipment selections • Work alongside the drawing team to develop P&IDs and design drawings • Provide guidance on equipment selection and support in procurement activities **Requirements:** • Level 7/8/9 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent • Experience in the Water Industry (desirable) • Previous experience in industries such as Water, Pumping/Piping, Fluid Handling Systems, Oil/Gas (desirable) • Ability to work on own initiative and effectively manage & coordinate design • Practical site experience (desirable) **About Veolia:** Veolia is Ireland's leading environmental services company, providing solutions that enable ecological transformation.
