Job Description:
As a Design Consultant, you will work closely with technical design engineers and across all departments to bring innovative ideas to life. You will be responsible for ideation, creation of 2D and 3D visual illustrations, and transfer of sketches into 3D CAD surface models.
- Ideation of technical concepts
- Creation of 2D and 3D visual illustrations
- Transfer of sketches into 3D CAD surface models
- Design of proof-of-principle rigs
- Regular communication with manufacturers and suppliers
- Producing and controlling reports, drawings, and other documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Product/Industrial Design Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of design service experience
Strong sketching ability, 3D CAD modelling (Solidworks or CREO), understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
Experience in rapid prototyping
Use of Adobe suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) advantageous
Benefits Package:
Salary between €45k - €55k per annum
