Design Engineer (timber, roofs, roof trusses) We are seeking an experienced Timber Design Engineer to join our client team. The role involves providing detailed design services for timber engineered products, including roof trusses, Spacejoist floor and roof systems, and Glulam timber beams. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, surveyors, and contractors to deliver high-quality roof truss systems, from wallplate to roof. Key Responsibilities: Manage the design process for timber-engineered products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with structural requirements. Perform structural calculations, create working drawings, and develop layout plans for customers. Coordinate with the factory for scheduling, overseeing output and logistics to ensure smooth project delivery. Prepare quotations and manage sales inquiries. Requirements: Strong background in timber design and structural calculations. Experience working with architects, surveyors, and contractors. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
