Job Description
Summary: Lead and develop ultra-high-speed controller IP developments in Ireland, collaborating with Cadence high-speed Ser Des teams to produce full Ethernet subsystems and solutions for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop new and exciting ultra-high-speed controller IP developments.
- Collaborate with Cadence high-speed Ser Des teams to produce full Ethernet subsystems and solutions.
- Develop and build teams to realize business goals.
- Provide line management and support to complete hiring needs.
- Architect SOC/NOC based solutions, providing direction and leadership to the extended team.
- Provide the most efficient design flows to meet business goals, including Synthesis, Constraint development, LINT, and Clock domain crossing (CDC).
- Assess product development and work with marketing to define a roadmap that satisfies customers' needs.
- Manage a technical team of up to 12 people and drive teams towards a set of defined goals and roadmaps.
- Travel and support internal strategic business development meetings and external customer-based meetings.
Requirements:
- Previous experience developing ultra-high-speed controller IP developments and Ethernet IP.
- Extensive protocol knowledge in key protocols such as DDR, PCIe, CXL, UCIe, Ethernet, Flash Storage, etc.
- Extensive RTL implementation knowledge, including full design flow knowledge from Marketing Requirements Document (MRD) to completing GDSII based solution.
- Education: Honors Degree BSc and/or MSc in Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 20 years of industry experience.
