Key responsibilities include producing technical documents, conducting site inspections, and participating in client and internal meetings.
Requirements:
- 2.1 Bachelor Degree or Masters in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geology or similar related subject.
- Minimum 2+ years experience in geotechnical engineering firm or similar company, preferably in Ireland.
- Experience in geotechnical design of infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge on Irish geology and geotechnical/soil mechanics principles.
- Working experience of site investigation, laboratory techniques and associated software and analysis tools for soil and rock logging.
- Practical knowledge of geotechnical reporting and geotechnical design software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to Continued Professional Development.
- Understanding of Eurocode principles in geotechnical design.
- Working towards Chartered status.
- Good knowledge of types of engineering contracts and BIM concepts.
