Job Description
Join our team as a Design Manager for a building project in Co. Carlow. Your mission is to manage the design process, ensure procurement and construction are not affected, and resolve design issues in a timely manner. You will
* Manage multiple design team disciplines and inputs from key stakeholders
* Deliver all design to ensure procurement and construction on site is not adversely affected
* Prepare and review all technical aspects of the design
* Risk track and manage throughout the design process
* Contribute to written proposals and manage the design budget
* Ensure timescales are achieved at each step of the design process
* Co-ordinate and plan client presentations and drive continuous improvement
* Stay focused and keep others focused
Ideally, you have a background in construction/project management/design management through to project delivery, are a confident decision maker, and have proven team leadership skills and excellent communication skills. You will be fully conversant with the competitive marketplace and have a solid understanding of Target Value Design and Constructability solutions.
