Job Description
Our client is a medium-sized contractor currently undertaking education and residential projects.
They require a Design Manager with Main Building Contractor experience or similar.
BIM experience and dealing with technical submittals is essential.
Role: Coordinate and track the submittal and approval process of Designs and materials ensuring client sign off and approval.
Look at risk/design problems by finding solutions with our Design Team before they materialize.
Plan and co-ordinate with project management teams.
Have good planning and program skills.
Should have a good understanding of BCAR, TGD, environmental - health and Safety regulations.
Attend Site Meetings and report on progress.
Requirements: Engineering or Architectural degree.
Ideally have at least 4 years' experience working as a Design Manager / Design Coordinator on building projects in Ireland or the UK.
Excellent salary circa €65-75k.
