Business Development Manager
A self-motivated individual with proven sales experience is sought to develop strategies to attract businesses to join a vibrant Chamber and create business opportunities for both Cork Chamber and its members to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive Membership Growth:
- Proactively engage with businesses to generate new members in all categories of membership.
- Initiate targeted new member campaigns to reach annual targets.
- Create and manage an active prospect list from multiple sources to secure new members.

Revenue Generation:
- Develop strategies and implement annual plans to lead to revenue-generating activities and successful achievement of goals.
- Assist members to recognize marketing and branding opportunities to enhance their visibility and engagement.
- Generate revenue through sponsorship and promotional opportunities that mutually benefit both the member and Cork Chamber.

Other Responsibilities:
- Attend Chamber events and represent Cork Chamber at external events as requested.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of membership-specific events.
- Support the wider Chamber team across all activities where necessary.
Requirements:

Qualifications:
- Third Level qualification in a business-related field or 5+ years of sales experience.

Functional Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum 4-5 years of previous B2B sales experience.
- Demonstrated successful business development track record.
- Proven ability in achieving sales targets, objectives, and goals.
