Job Description

The DevOps Lead will be responsible for ensuring the fully automated build/test/deploy system used to manage software development. This role will coordinate the DevOps team to assess and prioritize the organization and tooling needs for all aspects of our development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure solution, design, and troubleshooting documentation
  • Coordinate DevOps team to implement, evolve, and maintain Continuous Integration, Test, and Deployment pipelines
  • Contribute to the definition and execution of the DevOps Strategic Plan
  • Inform and coordinate with the Architecture team to ensure non-functional scoping

Team and Organization

  • Coordinate DevOps team and foster collaboration with other Engineering leaders and practices
  • Collaborate with team members to improve engineering tools, systems, and procedures
  • Responsible for application development and deployment processes
  • Operate with an automate-first mindset
  • Lead implementation and deployment planning, system integration, and quality assurance
  • Maintain and monitor DevOps dashboards

Agile

  • Work closely with Agile Delivery Engineer, Agile Delivery Manager, and Lead/Product Architect

Requirements

  • Degree-level educated with a solid background in IT and program management
  • Good knowledge of software development lifecycle, lean agile methodologies, and IT roles
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in a complex pharmacy and healthcare organization
  • Risk management skills
  • Knowledge of Agile techniques and JIRA/Confluence experience
