Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of driving projects from inception through to delivery. The ideal candidate has substantial experience leading DevOps initiatives, implementing scalable infrastructure, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines within Azure environments. Experience with GitHaus, Pangea, and Airflow is essential, along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Lead DevOps Projects: Own and drive DevOps strategies and solutions, managing full lifecycle delivery from planning to execution. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and implement scalable, reliable infrastructure using tools such as Terraform or ARM templates within Azure environments. CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, optimize, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth deployments across the development and production environments. Azure Cloud Management: Architect and manage complex, high-availability environments in Azure, optimizing for performance, cost, and security. GitHaus, Pangea, and Airflow Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of these technologies to manage workflows, orchestrate data pipelines, and ensure seamless project execution. Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with software development, data engineering, and quality assurance teams to align DevOps strategies with the broader technical roadmap. Security & Compliance: Ensure all solutions adhere to industry standards for security and compliance, particularly within the highly regulated pharmaceutical sector. Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Key Requirements: 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles with a proven track record of leading projects and teams, ideally within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or highly regulated industries. Strong expertise in DevOps tools and technologies including GitHaus, Pangea, Airflow, and Azure. Demonstrable experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Extensive experience in managing large-scale Azure cloud environments, including security, monitoring, and cost management. A strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and automation. Leadership experience, with the ability to drive projects and mentor other engineers. Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards or other highly regulated environments is a strong advantage.
