From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins laboratories work with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic, and labelling is accurate.Eurofins is dedicated to delivering testing services that contribute to the health and safety of society and the planet, and to its corporate responsibility to protect the environment and ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion across the entire network of Eurofins companies.Job DescriptionIn a nutshellEurofins is taking big steps in implementing best cloud and DevOps practices, accelerating the deployment of standard processes across its laboratories.A key IT Application for our Clinical Diagnostics business is the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) which is in development to be deployed across our European clinical laboratories and will be hosted in AWS.Where will you be based and what business will you support?In the role, you will be a key part of the Operations Team supporting the LIMS and supporting applications lifecycle, cloud migration, containerization and modernization.How can you help us?As aDevOps Engineerat Eurofins, you will:Join the team: approx 45 members across Portugal, Ireland and IndiaBe involved in application lifecycle management, configuration management, and build and release process management for the clinical suite of applications.Become a cloud DevOps practitioner to:Work closely with program and application architects.Develop and enhance Infrastructure as Code;Deploy applications on Cloud infrastructure using IaCAid in designing deployment plan for AWS platformsHelp bring Development and Operation teams togetherContribute to technical activities from the DevOps backlog;Help team members adapt to new ways of working;Support the application lifecycle and operational tasks;Maintain and extend both the technical documentation and DevOps guidelines;Act as part of the Clinical LIMS L3 Support Team;Provide operational support to the various Program scrum teams;Acquire and keep expanding functional knowledge of the EurIS suite, starting with the Clinical LIMS and application suite.QualificationsAre you our kind of extraordinary?Education:Bachelor's or master's degree in computer Science;Background:Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an Enterprise DevOps and/or cloud migration context;Technical skills:Cloud infrastructure and administration:AWS (preferred)On-prem infrastructure and administration;Deploy and release tools and best practices:Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, etc.;Infrastructure as Code:Terraform (Cloud);Database administration:Microsoft SQL Server; Oracle DBConfiguration management (with CMDB);Strong interpersonal relation skills: diplomatic, patient,Good communicator in an international environment.Keen eye for details be passionate for technical accuracy.Eager to learn continuously: new tech, processes, and functional knowledge!Additional InformationWhat can we offer you?Acompetitive salary package, including bonus and benefits;Extensive on-the-job coaching and training opportunities;Ahybrid working setup;Challenges within a multi-cultural and cross-regional teamas part of the international and fast-growing Eurofins organization;Adynamic working environmentwith a good team spirit where personal development and growth are highly encouraged.Your application:As the role and Eurofins' IT Talent Acquisition team are international,please ensure to submit your application inEnglish.We support your development!
