Dev Ops / Systems Engineer sought with 3+ years\u0027 Linux experience, strong automation skills, and expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and open-source technology.
We are seeking a highly skilled Dev Ops / Systems Engineer with a strong background in Linux administration and automation. The ideal candidate will have experience with building and operating online services, fault-tolerant distributed systems, and a wide range of open-source technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Linux Administration: 3+ years\u0027 experience with Linux administration and scripting (Python or Bash)
- Automation: Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, etc.
- Cloud and Containerization: Experience with deploying, administering, and configuring Kubernetes, Docker
- Infrastructure: Experience with on-prem deployed infrastructure and Openstack
- Agile and Continuous Delivery: Experience with Agile, Continuous Delivery, SQL, and DBA on open-source databases
- Monitoring and Visualization: Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Alertmanager, and visualization tools such as Grafana
- Infrastructure Management: Day-to-day management of the infrastructure stack, hardware specification and maintenance, and automating policies and procedures
- Version Control: Experience with version control systems such as Git and SVN
- Networked and Software Storage Technologies: Experience with networked and software storage technologies such as NFS, RAID, and Ceph/Gluster
