To achieve this, Diageo is driving an ambitious plan centred on fostering personalized engagements, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and providing end-to-end service. This role is part of the Digital Transformation team based in Dublin, working with Digital leaders across customer and business user sectors in a Digital First culture. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the vision and strategy for this transformation. It involves understanding business and customer priorities, aligning efforts accordingly, and developing a roadmap to reach our future state. The role requires substantial partner engagement with commercial and senior business functions at Diageo, effectively communicating the strategy and roadmap to gain alignment and support. Project delivery and execution are crucial aspects of this role. Whether using Agile or hybrid methodologies, successful delivery is a key measure of success. Change management is also essential to ensure a smooth transition, enabling the necessary usage and adoption. Continuous evolution is vital as the strategy, business, and external environment evolve. Staying updated with market trends, new capabilities, tools, and technologies is key to supporting our business in achieving its ambitions. Top Accountabilities 1. Strategic vision and leadership : Shape the strategic direction and roadmap for key initiatives. Exercise flexibility and ownership to apply your expertise , build strong relationships, and leverage resources effectively to achieve business objectives 2. Engagement and Prioritization : Lead the engagement and enrolment with Market Commercial leaders and Global teams to prioritize transformation projects that will deliver the best outcomes for our business and customers. 3 . Planning and Implementation : Develop and implement plans to deploy approved transformation projects and transition them into Business -a s -u sual (BAU). This role is accountable for delivering important metric improvements and other associated benefits. 4 . Customer and Colleague Experience : Take overall responsibility for enhancing the customer and colleague experience across Diageo and third-party teams through groundbreaking changes. This includes setting a multi-year vision and project plan for improving the route to consumer, as well as the ability to plan and deliver daily operations. The overall goal is to ensure the business achieves the expected impact from the Digital Transformation ambition, positioning Diageo as a leader in this area. Continuous improvement should be ingrained in our processes every cycle. This role offers the opportunity to lead the change agenda, embedding and ensuring the long-term success of Digital Transformation projects and the overall business adoption of the deployed solutions driving impactful change. About you Extensive Project Leadership : Proven experience in leading and managing complex business projects from initial scope through to deployment and transition into Business as Usual (BAU) Technology: Experienced in working with Salesforce Cloud technologies (Sales, Service, Data) and SAP ERP. Commercial CPG Expertise : Ideally, experience in the Commercial Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, engaging and enrolling senior commercial leaders and their teams in driving and sustaining entrepreneurial change. Strong Facilitation Skills : Comfortable delivering and facilitating content to large groups. Stakeholder Management : Ability to influence , build cross functional relationships and manage partners across the organization, including external agency partners, market leadership teams, and field sales teams. Problem Solver : Agile and proactive, with a passion for brilliant execution. Agile Delivery Expertise : Experience in Agile delivery, coordinating across markets, technology, vendor partners, and other global teams through various stages of delivery. Change Management : Skilled in developing and implementing change management plans. Business Case Development : Experienced in creating and managing cases to secure investment and demonstrate the delivery of benefits. Data Coordination : Experience working with multiple data sources and coordinating data experts and offshore teams to analyze and facilitate necessary insights and use cases. External Curiosity : An approach that seeks to understand best-in-class practices and integrate them into our strategy and roadmap.
