About Us Progressive Credit Union is a not for profit, community-based credit union, proudly supporting its 60,000 members across its seven-branch network, throughout the Leinster region. The Role Due to continued growth, we are delighted to announce the recruitment of the newly created role of Digital Transformation & Resilience Manager on a full time, permanent basis. This is anonsite role, with a requirement to travel throughout the branch network as required. The base location of the role will be dependant on the successful candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral part of the Senior Management Team, acting as a change agent to ensure Progressive Credit Unions sustainability into the future. The Digital Transformation & Resilience Manager will be primarily responsible for developing and supporting the digital transformation and IT agenda of the credit union against business needs, identifying opportunities for digital optimisation and spearheading the implementation of transformative solutions along with creating, implementing and monitoring of the credit unions resilience operations to ensure the organisation can effectively respond to and recover from disruptions and threats. The successful candidate will drive strategic initiatives aimed at leveraging technology, to enhance business operations, improve member experiences, and stay ahead of market trends. The role will develop and manage the digital infrastructure and roadmap, including both current and future product and service needs of the credit union and members, to a best-in-class standard, ensuring the credit union can deliver quality digital services and functions to members, that leads to retention and growth in members, growth in usage of a range of services through face-to-face, phone and online channels. The role will collaborate with various departments to identify digital opportunities and potential risks to our operations, assessing vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation measures to safeguard critical functions and services. The role will lead crisis management initiatives, coordinating response efforts, and foster a culture of resilience throughout the organization. Skills and Competency Requirements Third level qualification in IT, Engineering, Business or related field. At least 3 to 5 years' relevant experience within the information technology field or an industry with reliance on technical expertise. A minimum of 5+ years management experience, ideally within financial services. Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems set up and troubleshooting. Strong IT and analytical skills and a high level of competence in solution-based problem resolution. Expertise in IT organisational design and digital transformation an advantage Highly driven, energetic & self-motivated; strong interpersonal, communication (oral & written), & presentation skills with proven ability to pro-actively engage, collaborate & influence stakeholders & colleagues at all levels. Proven ability to analyse and design complex business processes. Excellent organisational and analytical ability, with sound judgement, able to recognise, identify, interpret and find solutions. Proven experience in managing program budgets in business environments to ensure targets are met. IT procurement & IT financial operations experience ensuring vendor contracts support business needs. Proven experience with leading teams on the implementation and enhancements of credit union technology specific platforms. Track record as an innovator, leading organisations and people through change. Experience in governance & project management would be an advantage Ability to be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator and an expert in technological and digital implementation and support. Flexible with a willingness and ability to adapt to change, particularly regarding how and when work can be completed. Drivers licence and access to own vehicle, for inter branch travel.
