You will be experienced in helping organisations to understand and respond to the impact of climate change and sustainability at both an operational and strategic level. You will be engaging with senior stakeholders on climate and sustainability related matters as they navigate both the business challenges and opportunities.To qualify for the role you must haveSignificant experience (12+ years) in helping clients to better understand, measure, quantify and articulate how climate change and sustainability related matters underpin and influence how an organisation creates long-term value for investors and other stakeholders.Experience advising clients on climate change and sustainability risk issues at an operational and strategic levelA deep understanding of the links between climate change, sustainability, business risk and value creation.Knowledge and experience of business strategy and operations, with a strong commercial background and experience in the field of social and environmental impact measurement and valuationAbility to learn and quickly understand new concepts outside area of expertiseAbility to think strategically but also identify, develop and implement practical solutions.Strong technical, quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to apply to solve new problemsStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with excellent written and verbal communicationAbility to network effectively within large organisations and build relationships with individuals and clientsAbility to contribute to new business development by highlighting potential opportunities for new engagements and responding to tendersAbility to develop team members by sharing knowledge and coachingIdeally you’ll also haveWe are looking for individuals from varied backgrounds, but it would be advantageous for you to have many of the experiences below:Deep sustainability regulatory knowledge and experienceA strong understanding of how investors, lenders and analysts review and use ESG information to inform decision makingExperience in GHG emissions, and sustainability KPI measurement, reporting and assuranceExperience in sustainability strategy development, double materiality, and implementation of sustainability strategiesSustainability data management, processes and controls mapping experienceRelevant professional qualifications related to sustainability, climate change, etc.What we look forWe’re interested in leaders with a genuine creative vision and the confidence to make it happen.
