Job Description

Director, Clinical Pharmacology

Lead clinical pharmacology efforts in drug development programs from early to late-stage clinical development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and interpret clinical pharmacology studies, applying quantitative approaches to inform dose and dosing regimen selection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate model-based approaches into development plans.
  • Contribute to development plans, protocols, analysis plans, study reports, and summaries for regulatory authorities.
  • Perform noncompartmental analyses independently and through oversight of external collaborators.
  • Stay informed of emerging advancements in quantitative pharmacology.

Requirements:

  • PhD or PharmD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field, with experience in pharmacometrics preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years within the drug development/pharmaceuticals industry.
  • Demonstrated success in executing clinical pharmacology programs and the application of quantitative drug development in small molecule therapeutics.
  • Strong knowledge of PK/PD principles, ADME concepts, and regulatory clinical pharmacology requirements.
  • Experience in the use of Model Informed Drug Development to advance development programs.
