Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and financial requirements, and provide insights and analysis to support their decision-making process.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop financial models and scenarios to evaluate business opportunities, investment decisions, and performance metrics, and recommend actions to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost efficiencies, and revenue optimization, and drive initiatives to achieve financial targets.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, business partnering, and strategic financial management, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or contract research organization (CRO) industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and formulate actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven leadership and management skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
