In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our financial systems and processes, driving data-driven decision-making, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial reporting.The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.ResponsibilitiesLead the FP&A systems team, providing guidance and support. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of FP&A systems including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data visualization tools.Ensure the integrity of financial data across all FP&A systems. Establish and maintain data governance protocols.Lead the integration of FP&A systems with other financial and operational systems, ensuring seamless data flow and reporting.Develop comprehensive financial reporting and analysis capabilities, providing actionable insights.Partner with stakeholders including finance, accounting, IT, and business units to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
