Job Description

Seeking experienced professional to lead global pricing and market access projects, manage client relationships, and drive business development in the life sciences industry.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical, or health industry, with 8+ years in a consulting role. They will possess excellent project management skills, strong business development capabilities, and a solid understanding of pharmaceutical business practices and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Steer project teams in delivering client consultancy projects and managing existing client relationships throughout engagements.
  • Enhance project managers and related teams with customized insights and strategic guidance.
  • Support the development of industry-related events, such as fairs and congresses.
  • Contribute to business development by designing proposals and helping to meet quarterly revenue targets.
  • Train junior colleagues and support the professional growth of the team.
  • Represent the internal point of contact for cross-functional activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use business experience and acumen to identify strategic alternatives and project approaches that address client questions.
  • Assist in the creation and presentation of final client reports and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Follow up with existing clients post-project to ensure satisfaction and explore new business opportunities.
  • Support the development of new contacts and client relationships by participating in and presenting at industry-specific events.
  • Manage business development opportunities, including team presentations, pitches, and cross-functional bidding activities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Experience: 12+ years in the pharmaceutical, medical, or health industry, with 8+ years in a consulting role.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative market research.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a project portfolio.
    • Proven history of managing mid-size teams of 6+ people.
    • Strong business development capabilities.
    • Exceptional conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical business practices and operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pricing and market access specificities in key global geographies.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10-20% of the time.
  • Ability to train and manage large teams remotely.
